Chanida “Dream” Wootthichairangsan talked with “ฉายแวว” about her work on planaria! The work that was initially designed to provide a glimpse on stem cell differentiation – a small step leading to limb regeneration and organogenesis in animal. After playing with planaria for a while, Drean realize the potential of her work that may also change the way we make vaccine and diagnostic kits against pathogenic flatworms.

Ekasit “IEx” Sonpho passionately tell the story to “ฉายแวว” about his work on planaria that is not only visually aesthetic but also help us gaining insights on the mechanism of drug resistance in pathogenic flukes. His discovery have a great potentially that may lead us to novel therapeutic strategy for curing parasitic worm infection!!!
